Microsoft Surface Earbuds will let you access Office 365 by voice

Users can listen to, delete and reply to their emails by voice control.

Microsoft has successfully capped off its hardware event with a suite of innovative game-changing products.

There haven't been any leaks about Microsoft's new Surface devices ahead of the launch as people were focused on the new iPhones and the new Samsung devices, but Microsoft has released a set of Microsoft Surface gadgets that caught everyone by surprise.

Among those devices were the new Surface Duo foldable smartphone and the Surface Neo foldable tablet.

What we weren't expecting were a pair of earbuds from Microsoft. The tech giant is jumping onboard the wireless earbuds trend with its new Surface Earbuds.

These earbuds rival the Apple Airpods, the Samsung Galaxy Buds and Amazon's newly released Echo Buds.

The Surface Earbuds has a sleek design that makes it unique from all the other wireless earbuds in the market. Microsoft said the earbuds feature an ultra-comfortable design, intuitive touch and voice controls, as well as screen-free access to Office 365. This way, users can listen to, delete and reply to their emails without having to pull their phones from their pockets when they're on the go.

The earbuds is also packed with immersive sound for music and calls, plus its battery can stay awake for 24 hours.

The device also boasts a responsive touch surface that allows users to tap, touch and swipe it to skip a song, adjust the volume, make a call or hail their voice assistant.

In terms of comfortability, Microsoft said the earbuds have four anchor points so each bud sits securely in a user's ear. There are also three sets of interchangeable silicone ear tips that come with every purchase so that users can choose the right size for them.

Microsoft has yet to schedule the release date of the Surface Earbuds, but it revealed that they will cost $249.00.
