Smart Fitness Equipment: From Spin BIke to Simulator
Modern fitness equipment can replace going to the gym and even a personal trainer. And with their help, you can save time, improving your shape for the summer season. Which innovations are worth paying attention to?

The result in 20 minutes

Generally, the basis of modern equipment is the platform, which creates a vibration by moving in three directions: from side to side, back and forth, and up and down. That’s how the machine makes the entire musculature work at the same time. After all, in order not to fall, we need to concentrate as much as possible and use all the muscles, even the smallest ones. The display shows what effort we make and whether this effort is enough. So the simulator itself keeps track of how good we are.

The essence of the exercises is to perform seemingly ordinary exercises. But due to the vibration, their effectiveness increases several times. Therefore, for a full-fledged training, instead of the usual two-hour exercises in the gym, 20-30 minutes will be enough.

Fat burning

According to, one of the new products is the Power Plate simulator. It’s multifunctional, and it allows you to use a variety of training modes. It consists of a vibrating platform and handlebars that you can hold on to while exercising.

Regular exercises improve movement coordination, increase endurance, develop flexibility, and relieve tension. Also, despite the high energy costs, exercises on Power Plate are not tiring. On the contrary, two or three exercises a week for 15 minutes each will strengthen leg and buttock muscles, improve metabolism, and even skin condition ("remove" cellulite).

Another new machine is the FitVibe platform. It includes the "Personal trainer" program. It allows you to control your workout on your own. You can also choose exercises for any muscle group: breasts, buttocks, press, thighs. Tips displayed on the screen will help you with these exercises.

Each exercise should be done within one minute. Then you have 30 seconds to take a breath. As a result, the total training time takes up to 20 minutes. The FitVibe platform allows you to train the muscles in your whole body, keep yourself in good shape, and "burn" fat.

Keeping shape

Another simulator to influence your whole body is Huber. It’s equipped with a rotating platform with different speeds and movable "wings". They contain sensors for measuring the applied force. The display serves as feedback: it shows how correctly and confidently you are standing on your feet, monitoring your coordination of movements. Also, the smart machine ensures that you have the same influence on the right and left sides of the body and corrects mistakes.

The computer allows you to create individual programs according to the degree of complexity. First, you need to learn a few basic positions. Then you can change the parameters by adjusting the load. Depending on where the movement is directed, different muscle groups are loaded. For example, if you pull the "wings" toward yourself, the abdominal muscles will work. By pushing the handlebars of the simulator forward, you strain the muscles of the back, legs, triceps, and abs. All the lower body muscle groups are actively involved during the entire training session, but the joints are not overloaded.

Huber trains the vestibular system, improves attention and coordination of movements. In addition, it trains the cardiovascular system and improves overall health.

Exercises with a hint

Another interesting type of simulators is the En dynamic strength training machines. They also work with all muscle groups. These machines are distinguished by a special system of hints. They have a memory card that makes it easy to control the loads. Here, you don’t have to count the number of exercises and guess if you've made more turns to the right than to the left. The machines are equipped with a special signal, which indicates that the exercise in this direction has stopped.

Training with sufficient intensity gives good results. You can always track the effectiveness on the computer, and at the end of the session, you get the final result. These simulators form a body shape, help to fight effectively against fat deposits, and improve the work of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

Virtual stick

A new version of the sports "tool" is Wii Fit. Basically, it's a game console that allows you to play different kinds of sports under the guidance of a virtual coach. The main part of the simulator is the platform. There are sensors on it to detect whether you're doing the right thing or not. There is also a special joystick with a built-in sensor. It serves as a tennis racket, a stick, a rod, depending on the program selected.

Before you can start training on Wii Fit, you should create a profile, so to speak, a screen image. To do this, you need to enter gender, age, and height. The platform will determine the weight, the center of gravity, and body mass index of the "player". However, the simulator may be wrong: if you have a developed musculature, it will take it for extra weight.

Then you have to get up on the "board", thus launching the program. The "toy" will react with fanfare, and the electronic voice will inform about the beginning of the lesson. It is important to keep your balance while doing the exercises. The trainer will constantly monitor your actions. At the same time, a cheerful voice will occasionally exclaim things like: "Well done!" or "Great!

Some of the Wii Fit exercises require slow but precise movements. Others, on the other hand, require a quick reaction, speed, and agility. In general, Wii Fit exercises help players improve their physical shape, coordination and balance, and endurance. It also allows you to monitor progress, recording changes in weight every time you exercise.

You can work out on such simulators quite often. For good results, you need to train at least twice a week. This will save your time and ensure good stretching, muscle strengthening, and endurance development.
