Black Friday 2019: Gaming Deals coming to GameStop on Black Friday

Could the new Nintendo Switch Lite be part of GameStop's offerings this Black Friday?

Black Friday has always been the biggest holiday shopping event that customers in the United States and around the world look forward to.

Previously, Black Friday was the day when people snag the biggest TVs they could get their hands on as soon as the shop doors open.

Now, Black Friday has since branched out into other consumer items including clothes, household appliances, smartphones, laptops, toys and more.

Over the recent years, the gaming industry has also started to take part in the annual Black Friday shopping event, with major retailers offering big discounts on gaming consoles, video games and other gaming paraphernalia.

Among them is GameStop, where gaming enthusiasts and those who are just starting to build their gaming deck at home go to whenever they are looking for newly released game titles and even gaming consoles.

GameStop saw massive sales numbers last year following its successful Black Friday event.

Now, the company is again expected to offer its customers more gaming deals. Every year, GameStop drops the prices of the most popular consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. This year, GameStop could be offering the newest Nintendo Switch Lite on a discount following the console's launch in September.

Apart from the Switch Lite, GameStop could be bringing back some of the bestsellers that it also offered during the Black Friday of 2018.

Last year, Black Friday came early for GameStop customers, with discounts starting at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving and holiday deals on beginning at 8 p.m. Central, so customers did not have to wait for the clock to strike 12:00 midnight on Black Friday.

This year, GameStop is again predicted to follow the same schedule. The retailer is also projected to again offer some of the deals that it made available last year. Who knows, the prices could be further brought down this year.
