This book teaches coding at a very early age

Teach your kids the basics of coding as early as now.

We have now entered the era of artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, unmanned delivery drones and all things tech that have recently changed how people live their lives.

Now that machine starts to take over humans, knowledge of tech is becoming more essential and there is now a strong demand for skilled and knowledgeable people to help push forward the transition to automation.

To help children of today keep up with the current advancements in technology, parents have started to instill basic STEM skills to children as early as possible.

Kids as young as 3 years old nowadays already own iPads. This early entry into the world of technology has helped kids understand the basics of navigating a device's user interface.

Now, a founder of a tech startup is advocating the early introduction of kids to programming with a book called "Lanie Learns to Code."

Helena Ingram, the author of the book, said she wrote it during her senior year of high school, aiming to promote STEM to children, inspire them to start coding and help them realize how this skill can help them as they grow.

The book is slated for launch on Kickstarter on November 2 and you can now sign up to reserve your discounted early bird reward.

In Lanie Learns to Code, children will be able to learn computer science easily and discover how it can change their lives.

Here's the summary of Lanie Learns to Code:

Lanie Learns to Code is a book about a girl named Lanie and her best friend Charlie, who are excited about learning the technology of coding. While taking coding classes at their local elementary school, Lanie thinks of a wonderful idea to use coding to help find her lost puppy, Daisy. With the help of her school’s coding teacher, Ms. Peterson, and the support of her best friend Charlie, she builds a startup to not only help find her puppy Daisy, but help other people find their lost pets too.
