Cyber Monday 2019: Date, Deals and Everything You Need to Know

This year's Cyber Monday is expected to top last year's figures.

Cyber Monday is coming up in just 29 days and it’s about to be another day of exciting deals in the lead up to Christmas.

This year, Cyber Monday —the Monday after Thanksgiving and Black Friday — falls on December 2. Although Black Friday is still regarded as the grandest shopping event of every year, shoppers can still expect to see almost the same amount of deals on Cyber Monday.

Unlike Black Friday, though, deals on Cyber Monday will only be available online and stocks by Cyber Monday could be those that were not sold during the early Black Friday sales and on the very day of Black Friday.

However, you can still expect big discounts on a number of items online compared to actual prices on regular days. Cyber Monday is still a good deal if you’re looking to shop for Christmas presents.

Last year, the biggest retailers in the United States continued to offer Cyber Monday deals even after hosting early holiday deals and Black Friday deals. Some’s sales events even lasted for the whole month of November. Among them were Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target and even Dell.

Back then, the best-selling products during Cyber Monday were the Nintendo Switch, Amazon’s Echo Dot smart speaker, the AncestryDNA: Genetic Testing Ethnicity kit, the Bose QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones for Apple devices, a variety of toys like Nerf blasters, L.O.L. Surprise! dolls, the Anki vector robot, TVs and fashion items, among many others.

This year, customers are poised to purchase the same kinds of items and go even bigger with their purchases. Adobe Analytics predicts the following items will be massive hits during Cyber Monday: Nintendo Switch Lite and SEGA Genesis Mini gaming consoles and toys such as the Owleez, Blume Dolls, Candy Locks, Kindi Kids, and L.O.L Surprise OMG Swag. In terms of video games, Pokémon Shield/Sword, Shenmue 3, Jedi Fallen Order, Death Stranding and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are expected to be the biggest titles.

Adobe Analytics also forecasts online sales in the U.S. to reach $143 billion this holiday season, with Cyber Monday expected to account for $9.4 billion in sales, representing an 18.9% increase from the year-ago figure. That prediction comes despite fewer days between Cyber Monday and Christmas Day this year compared to last year.

All the deals that will be available on Cyber Monday 2019 are expected to be announced before the actual day, so stay tuned as we cover everything about Cyber Monday and all the latest about Black Friday 2019. Some Cyber Monday deals could even drop on Sunday, same as the previous years.

Meanwhile, you can start shopping for pre-Black Friday deals as early as now at Amazon, Walmart, Dell and Kohl’s. By Saturday, November 9, you can catch Sam’s Club’s November 9 One-Day Holiday Sales event, which comes with the biggest discounts yet on TVs, iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones, game consoles and toys, laptops, home essentials and more.
