Some Of The Latest Motorcycle Tech Advancements

There’s no escape from the fact; technology has transformed the dynamics of all industries around the globe. One such industry which continues to thrive every single year with interesting things for people to get is the auto industry. Had it not been for a massive improvement in technology, we wouldn’t have had some of the most incredible automobiles in the world. In this article we will guide you through some amazing motorcycle tech advancements you must know. Traditionally motorcycles were always perceived to be a convenient mode of transport with an average look. However, modern motorcycles are coming up with interesting features that really increase the value of traveling with them.

Some of these incredible motorcycle tech advancements are:

1. Unique design

This is perhaps the first advancement that needs to be discussed. The benefit of technology is it allows us to mold the same thing in different shapes. The modern motorcycles come in a vast array of unique designs which is why a lot of bikers invest a lot of money in an automobile. The conventional motorbikes come with the same design but the ethos behind launching new designs every few months up is to excite the audience and present them with something unique and interesting. Traditionally motorbikes were introduced for two people, but the unique design of the modern motorbikes allows three people to ride a single-vehicle. Furthermore, the unique designs are crafted in a way that they protect the body of the vehicle even after a motorcycle crash.

2. Fuel-saving mode

One of the rampantly growing crises around the world is too much gas consumption. However, a lot of companies have already started to work on providing vehicles that are not just embedded with new features but also allow for cost-saving. Modern motorbikes come with an interesting feature which allows the rider to know exactly the distance he/she will be able to travel for a certain amount of fuel. Though conventional motorbikes don’t have any such feature, mainstream companies have introduced high tech models with this intriguing feature as a USP.

3. Three-wheelers

When we talk about three wheels, a lot of us never think of three wheels being a part of a single bike. However, the truth be told, three-wheelers are already on the market and have carved quite a good reputation for themselves. Three-wheeler bikes look hot and give a unique driving experience to the rider. Though three-wheelers are not a mainstream option for the masses because of the price, yet a lot of people want to splurge in the pursuit of having an adventurous driving experience. The companies that are yet to launch a new model in 2020 claim this feature has been introduced to increase the rider’s security.

4. Antilock braking systems

Every year thousands of road accidents take place because of brake issues in the vehicles. However, the anti-lock braking system proves to be a lifesaver. With an anti-lock braking system, the rider won't run into an accident in case he/she has to suddenly stop at some point during the journey. The history of the antilock braking system dates back to the ’80s but is a modern age feature that continues to be incorporated in modern bikes and cars as well. Just recently antilock braking system was introduced in 2014.

5. Brake Lights

The irony behind incorporating this feature in the motorbikes is to tell the pedestrian or the other rider about the intensity with which brakes are being applied by the motorcyclist. The process is inclusive of two-stage lighting. In dynamic brake lighting, the first pattern appears during normal braking, and the other one appears during intense braking. The benefit of dynamic brake lights is they inform the trailing vehicles about a vehicle intending to accelerate or stop.

These were just some of the motorcycle tech advancements the world has experienced. Much hard work is still being done by mainstream automobile companies to present the audience with something more concrete and interesting.
