China's PuduTech to debut 2 delivery robots at CES 2020

A new technological trend in dining out is coming.

There’s only three days left before the annual Consumer Electronics Show of 2020 and both attendees and exhibitors are already preparing to see the latest innovations in the world of tech.

This year, as always, attendees can expect to see a lineup of robots at the trade show.

China’s PuduTech, which provides intelligent delivery robots, will be part of this year’s exhibit to showcase its two new delivery robots that are designed to help in the food industry.

One of the robots, BellaBot, serves as a delivery robot with its large four-layer trays. BellaBot, with its cute cat face, will be able to interact with people by making facial expressions. This robot is programmed to have multiple delivery functions, precise positioning and navigation systems and optimal scheduling algorithms.

The other robot, called HolaBot, is a dish-return robot that is built with a 120L enclosed cabin containing three-layer trays that can hold 20kg of plates and bowls per layer. PuduTech said HolaBot functions like six waiters combined.

HolaBot starts working as soon as an operator does a remote call for the robot.

During the CES 2020 from January 7 to 10, PuduTech will demo both BellaBot and HolaBot, as well as the company’s flagship robot, PuduBot. PuduTech's exhibit will be like a restaurant where visitors can witness how the delivery robots work in real scenarios.

The CES 2020 is coming up in a few days from now, so make sure to catch the latest updates on the biggest consumer electronics trade show at I4U News’ dedicated CES 2020 News Hub.
