The new innovations from Kohler include a smart faucet that is voice activated.

Appliance manufacturer Kohler is launching five new smart home products to make homeowners’ life easier as they adopt an intelligent home.

Kohler will be putting them on display at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10.

The new products will be part of the Kohler Konnect portfolio, letting users control the devices through an app. They include the Moxie showerhead and smart speaker, Aquifer Refine water purification system, Setra touchless faucet, DTV Mode shower system, and new Touchless Toilet technology.

The Moxie showerhead comes with a portable smart speaker and a built-in voice assistant to let users sing in the shower with background music on.

The Aquifer Refine water purification system will allow users to turn their kitchen faucet on and off without having to actually touch it. It recognizes users’ voice and it also monitors water usage, letting owners track their water consumption through the handy Kohler Konnect app.

Kohler is also introducing the DTV Mode digital shower system, making it possible for users to simply push a button to control their shower’s temperature and create customized baths. Users can even remotely start their shower or bath from the Kohler Konnect app.

Meanwhile, the Touchless Toilet by Kohler is also coming to the CES. Kohler has placed a sensor in the flush lever of the toilet, allowing users to simply place their hand in front of the lever to flush the toilet.

"As technology integrates more fully into our lives, it's important to develop ways that it can help make things we do every day more comfortable and enjoyable… Kohler applies our industry heritage and passion for innovation to provide specific solutions in the kitchen and bathroom – such as smart kitchen faucets that offer hands-free experiences, unmatched sound quality for music in the shower, or a range of innovative intelligent toilets that enhance your comfort in the bathroom,” Kohler President Larry Yuen said in a statement.

Apart from the five new products, Kohler will also showcase its other lineup of smart home devices during the CES including the Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror, the Sensate touchless kitchen faucet, the Numi 2.0 intelligent toilet, the DTV+ shower system, the PureWarmth heated toilet seat and the company’s automatic standby generators.

CES attendees can witness how these products work during the annual trade show in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10.
