Samsung provides preview of 8K QLED TVs ahead of CES 2020

Samsung will introduce multi-view feature for these TVs, letting users watch two videos at the same time.

Samsung Electronics has just announced at its South Korean website that it will be debuting its QLED 8K TV model for 2020 at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show from January 7 to 10, 2020.

The South Korean consumer electronics company has yet to make an official announcement through its global website.

On its South Korean-language website, Samsung said its 2020 QLED 8K TV will integrate artificial intelligence for the displays to deliver a different level of 8K experience encompassing the picture quality and the sound emitted by the TVs. The new line of Samsung’s QLED 8K TVs will also boast an infinity design, which is the latest trend in displays of TVs, smartphones and other electronic devices with displays.

Samsung said its new TVs will run on an AI quantum processor to convert image quality to 8K regardless of the source of the video.

Samsung has also updated the user experience for its 2020 QLED 8K TVs. Users can now take advantage of the “multi-view” feature that will allow them to multitask, such that users can watch two videos at the same time either side by side or picture in picture.

Another new feature is the “tap view,” that will let users mirror their smartphone to their TVs. Samsung will also introduce the “digital butler” feature to allow the TVs to control devices that are either connected or not to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

These new lineup of smart 8K QLED TVs will be part of Samsung’s exhibit at the annual CES.

The CES 2020 is coming up in a few days from now, so make sure to catch the latest updates on the biggest consumer electronics trade show at I4U News’ dedicated CES 2020 News Hub.
