Samsung to reportedly launch Galaxy S11 at Unpacked event in February

The next Samsung flagship phone of 2020 is coming next month.

Samsung Electronics has just released its official invite for its annual Unpacked event for 2020 and this year, it is scheduled for Tuesday, February 11.

Samsung’s Unpacked event will be held in San Francisco at 11 a.m. PST.

Sticking to tradition, Samsung has decided not to reveal any details about which products will be announced.

However, for Android fans and for the entire smartphone industry that has had its eyes on Samsung’s announcements for years now, it’s logical to assume that Samsung could release its next flagship phone, the Galaxy S11.

The current flagship phone by Samsung, the Galaxy S10, was announced in February 2019 during Samsung’s Unpacked event.

A couple of news sites, including CNET, suggests that the S11 will pack a 108-megapixel camera, a 5,000-mAh battery, a 5G variant, and will likely bear the same design as the Galaxy Note10.

Meanwhile, TechRadar suggests that the S11 will come in display sizes of 6.2 inches up to 6.9 inches and will be powered by a new Samsung Exynos chipset and the Snapdragon 865 chipset.

The tech website also suggests that the S11 will include a base model, a Plus model, and an Ultra model.

However, TechRadar reported a few days ago that the S11 could no longer be Samsung’s flagship phone. Samsung would reportedly focus on the rumored Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Samsung has yet to reveal any details about the S11 or about what’s coming to the Unpacked event, so stay tuned as I4U News covers all the updates surrounding Samsung’s hardware event in February.
