JBL enters gaming market with launch of Quantum gaming headsets and speaker

The flagship headset, the JBL Quantum ONE, features immersive sound when playing.

Ahead of the CES 2020 tomorrow, January 7, audio company JBL, a unit of Samsung-owned Harman, has announced that it is foraying into the world of gaming with the launch of its first range of gaming headsets and speakers, which are exclusively designed for gamers.

JBL’s gaming offerings, called the JBL Quantum Range, will pack the JBL QuantumSOUND Signature, delivering immersive audio quality.

The new devices will be part of the HARMAN showcase during CES 2020 at the Hard Rock Hotel.

The Quantum lineup includes seven headset models that range from wired to wireless: the JBL Quantum 100, JBL Quantum 200, JBL Quantum 300, JBL Quantum 400, JBL Quantum 600, JBL Quantum 800 and the flagship headset, the JBL Quantum ONE.

The JBL Quantum ONE is fitted with JBL’s proprietary JBL QuantumSPHERE 360 sound technology for that immersive feel when playing, letting competitive gamers hear their enemies and movements around them.

JBL is also releasing the JBL Quantum DUO speaker that combines JB’s surround sound feature with the Dolby Digital technology to let players pinpoint incoming fire or hear their enemies when they are creeping from behind.

The JBL Quantum Range will become available starting April 2020, with the headsets to be priced from $39.95 - $299.95 and the JBL Quantum DUO speaker at $149.95.
