ASUS launches ROG gaming laptops Zephyrus G14 and Zephyrus G15 at CES 2020

ASUS is launching two new beasts of a laptop.

ASUS’ gaming unit Republic of Gamers has revealed its new powerful premium gaming laptops that are designed with aesthetic and performance in mind.

They are the new Zephyrus G14 and Zephyrus G15 gaming notebooks that are ultra-slim, veering away from the traditional gaming laptops that are usually bulky.

These new gaming devices by ASUS ROG are now in display at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas until Friday, January 10.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 and Zephyrus G15 both run on powerful processors that are enclosed in a compact chassis that is portable enough for any gamer who is always on the go, such as esports players.

The Zephyrus G14 packs a 17.9mm thin chassis and a new AMD Ryzen 4000 Series Mobile Processor. It boasts more than 10 hours of battery life and it can be charged by compatible Type-C power packs.

Meanwhile, the Zephyrus G15 features updates from the previous generation Zephyrus GA502. It measures 19.9mm thin and weighs just 2.1kg. It has a 240Hz IPS-level gaming panel with Pantone Validation and compatibility with adaptive sync technology.

Both gaming laptops feature immersive gaming visuals with top-notch GeForce RTX graphics, stunning displays for high refresh, high resolution and a one-of-a-kind cooling design despite their slim built.

“ASUS continues to drive innovation on Windows 10 with their latest ultra-slim laptops... The Zephyrus G14 and G15 provide exceptional gaming and content creation experiences without compromising power or portability, and now at price points that will make them even more affordable for students, freelancers and creators,” Microsoft's Vice President for Device Partner Sales Nicole Dezen said in a statement.

ASUS has yet to announce the pricing of these new gaming devices, but it said the Zephyrus G14 and G15 will both be available by the first or second quarter of the year.
