Huami unveils military-grade smartwatch Amazfit T-Rex at CES 2020

This new smartwatch features the most durable design for a smartwatch to date.

Huami, one of the trusted manufacturers of wearable devices including smartwatches and wireless earphones under the Amazfit brand, has joined this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, launching its new smartwatch that is built for users who love the outdoors.

The new smartwatch is called the Amazfit T-Rex, and true to its name, this smartwatch is a beast of a device with its durable design that passed 12 regulations of the military-standard (MIL-STD-810G) quality test. Its durable polymer body allows the smartwatch to sustain any type of weather and temperature.

Aside from its durability, the Amazfit T-Rex also packs powerful performance that works best for a range of sports and fitness functions. It’s the most ideal smartwatch to date for adventurous users and urban-outdoor enthusiasts.

The Amazfit T-Rex features a 1.3-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 360x360 pixels and an "always on display" function, similar to the recently released feature of the Apple Watch Series 5.

Users can take advantage of its 20-day battery life, perfect for long trips.

There are 14 sports modes to try out with the Amazfit T-Rex. It can even be worn under water, plus it also has all-day heart rate monitoring with rapid heart rate alerts.

Huami said the Amazfit T-Rex will become available by this month at a suggested retail price of $139.9.
