Konka presents 236-inch 8K APHAEA Smart Wall TV at CES 2020

This smart TV can take up an entire wall for that cinematic feel.

8K resolution has indeed become the most embraced trend in TVs since it was standardized in Japan in 2007.

As more manufacturers now offer TVs with 8K resolutions, a company from China has stepped up its game with the release of a massive 236-inch TV with an 8K resolution. This TV is from Konka and it’s called the APHAEA Smart Wall TV.

Konka launched the Smart Wall TV at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The company described it as the “screen of the future.”

The 236-inch 8K APHAEA Smart Wall is the perfect display for consumers who are building their home cinemas. This TV packs one hundred million RGB LED chips that are able to produce vibrant and vivid colors, as well as top-notch true-to-life picture quality on screen. The Smart Wall can support resolutions of 2K, 4K, 6K and 8K and aspect ratios of 16:9, 21:9 or 1:1.

Konka said the APHAEA Smart Wall is part of its latest solutions that are powered by Micro LED and AIoT technology.

CES attendees can witness this gargantuan TV in person until Friday, January 10.

During the CES, Konka also made a major announcement, with Konka President Zhou Bin saying that the company will enter the North American market with a local management team in Southern California and the development of region-specific products.
