Taiwan’s Yunyun Tech debuts world’s 1st AI-enabled smart baby monitor Cubo at CES 2020

Cubo can prevent suffocation with its camera that employs artificial intelligence.

On the last day of the biggest tech show of the year, the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show, more startups and big tech companies have showcased their new products and technologies that are launching soon, including those that are pioneering a new trend in certain fields.

One of them is a Taiwanese company called Yunyun Tech. This startup has unveiled the world’s first smart baby monitor that uses artificial intelligence that can detect the baby’s mouth and nose to avoid suffocation, as well as dangerous zones within a room, among many others.

Yunyun Tech said its AI-enabled baby camera, called Cubo, is also able to automatically take photos even at night with its ultra-HD night vision. Cubo, which is shaped like a bird, can detect and notify parents whenever the baby is crying or whenever there is a change in temperature or humidity. It also serves as a night light, and its stand grows along with the baby.

Parents can even monitor their babies realtime through an app for Cubo. The app shows a realtime image of the baby’s room, in addition to the temperature and humidity.

Yunyun Tech said it aims to market Cubo globally, especially in the United States, the world's biggest baby product market.

The CES 2020 in Las Vegas has just capped off, but you can check the best products and innovations that were unveiled during the biggest tech show at I4U News’ dedicated CES 2020 News Hub.
