Avocados from Mexico Gives Away $30,000 with Blockchain Tech during Super Bowl 2020

The group is doubling down on its Super Bowl spending.

The Super Bowl LIV is just weeks away and companies and other advertisers are spending big on their marketing campaigns during the nation’s biggest gaming event.

The very first advertiser to confirm that it will be spending big on a TV commercial during the Super Bowl is Avocados From Mexico, which advocates avocado consumption.

It appears that Avocados From Mexico’s Super Bowl presence is not limited to its TV spot.

The group has just announced that it will offer over $30,000 in prizes for Super Bowl fans during the Big Game.

Avocados From Mexico has employed blockchain technology for its competition, which will be held on Twitter and through the AFM Big Game website.

On Twitter, fans can join the contest by retweeting Avocados From Mexico's campaign tweets and tweeting the hashtag #AvoNetwork. A lucky winner will be able to choose between claiming a tiara valued at $2,745 or cash out the prize.

The prize is even bigger for those who will create their own digital wallet through the AFM Big Game website. The contest will run in a period of two weeks.

Avocados From Mexico will alert users when a new Vatom digital coin is released and those who have made a digital wallet will get a chance to earn them. To win, a user will only have to do certain tasks like sharing news from Avocados From Mexico or following the brand’s social media channels.

"When we conceptualize our digital campaigns, we don't look to the present. We look to the future to incorporate those breakthrough technologies that are likely to reshape marketing as we know it,” Avocados From Mexico’s digital marketing head Ivonne Kinser said in a statement.

Meanwhile, AFM’s 30-second Super Bowl 2020 TV commercial will have a light-hearted theme, the company had earlier said.

The 2020 Super Bowl, or Super Bowl LIV, will be taking place on Sunday, February 2 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

As the biggest game of the year nears, expect to see all the most inspiring, hilarious and exciting TV commercials from the biggest companies who seek to get their message out to a massive audience.

For this year’s Super Bowl, the very first to announce that they are coming back with a new ad is Avocados From Mexico. Earlier, Facebook also seemingly confirmed speculations about its very first Super Bowl ad after the star of its commercial, Sylvester Stallone, dropped hints on social media. Luxury carmaker Porsche has also confirmed that it is releasing its first Super Bowl ad in 23 years, featuring the electric Taycan.
