Nextbase launches life-saving 4K dash cam 622GW model

This dash cam notifies emergency responders where the car exactly is during an emergency.

U.K.-based electronic products manufacturer Nextbase has unveiled its most advanced product for vehicle owners yet: a dash cam with a 4K resolution and a potentially lifesaving feature, an emergency SOS capability.

Nextbase unveiled its new 622GW 4K Dash Cam at the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show and it is slated for release in the spring of 2020.

The Nextbase 622GW 4K Dash Cam is equipped with a geocode system that pinpoints the actual location of the car, giving emergency responders the ability to track a car with a 622GW dash cam in case of emergency even when the dash cam is offline. It is ideal for drivers who are lost in an unknown area.

This camera can capture videos in crystal-clear 4K high definition quality at 30 frames per second. It can also play back in super slow motion at up to 120fps, letting drivers capture clear details like license plate numbers. It even has enhanced night vision so it can record all important details even on dark roads.

On top of its recording capabilities, the Nextbase 622GW 4K Dash Cam also offers ultra-fast Dual 2.4GHz + 5GHz Wi-Fi for the fastest transfer speeds. This way, car owners can download footage from the 622GW into their phones.

As soon as it’s out, the Nextbase 622GW is expected to retail at around $399.
