TurboTax to air 60-sec ‘All People Are Tax People’ ad at Super Bowl 2020

TurboTax showcases how people can do their taxes on their own with the help of its platform.

U.S. online tax preparation service TurboTax has announced that it will be part of the lineup of commercials during the 2020 Super Bowl.

The company, created by Intuit, is set to launch its new brand campaign, “All People Are Tax People,” through a 45-second spot during the Super Bowl LIV. It follows the release of TurboTax’s 60-second commercial for the same campaign, showing how people who can do everyday tasks — such as having a baby or cooking a meal — can also manage to do their taxes through TurboTax.

TurboTax is the official sponsor of the National Football League for financial and accounting software. During the Super Bowl, viewers can expect to see a 45-second TV commercial from TurboTax.

“Every day we watch the people around us do remarkable things. Yet when it comes to their taxes and finances these same people can feel overwhelmed and intimidated… At TurboTax, we’ve long believed that with the right tools and encouragement, people are capable of anything – including their taxes. ‘All People Are Tax People’ brings this belief to life, giving consumers the confidence they need to accomplish their taxes,” Intuit’s Consumer Group Senior Vice President Mary-Ann Somers said in a statement.

TurboTax has partnered with independent advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy to produce its ads.

The 2020 Super Bowl, or Super Bowl LIV, will be taking place on Sunday, February 2 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
