Kia’s Super Bowl 2020 TV ad stars Raiders’ Josh Jacobs in fight against youth homelessness

The ad is part of Kia's campaign to raise money for charities that address the issue of homelessness among the youth.

Kia Motors has just released its 2020 Super Bowl TV commercial and as promised, the carmaker committed to addressing the issue of youth homelessness.

The brand’s official Big Game ad, which runs for a minute and 10 seconds is a followup to the trailer that was released last week. The teaser starred a kid that addressed a press conference, answering the question, "What keeps you going out there?”

Throughout the commercial, Jacobs does a voiceover. At one part, he asks, “I wonder what I would tell my younger self if I ever saw him?”

As Jacobs sees a kid that represents a younger version of him, he says, “I'd tell him, Josh, it's going to be hard growing up homeless…but you have to believe in yourself.”

The ad is part of Kia’s campaign called the "Yards Against Homelessness" initiative following Kia’s previous "Give It Everything" campaign.

The company is pledging a $1,000 donation for every yard gained in the Super Bowl divided among three charity partners: Covenant House, Positive Tomorrows and StandUp for Kids.

“An ongoing tenet of Kia's Give It Everything philosophy is to give back in meaningful ways, and we at Kia both admire and identify with Josh's tenacity and determination… The all-new Seltos is a powerful addition to Kia's roster of tough and ready SUVs, and the idea behind
