Funko opens pre-order for 1st series of Paka Paka collectibles

The Paka Paka collection brings the excitement of unboxing to the cutest level.

Funko is expanding beyond vinyl action figures, key chains and board games with the release of its new collectible, the Paka Paka blind capsule line that is created to heighten collectors’ excitement as they unbox capsules.

The first series of Funko’s Paka Paka collection includes three themes: the Paka Paka: Soda Kats, Paka Paka: Munchies and the Paka Paka: Kawaii Village Japan.

All three sets contain adorable little action figures enclosed inside capsules — think L.O.L. Surprise! dolls, but instead of dolls, the Paka Paka collection contain special items according to a certain Paka Paka theme.

They are all priced at only $5.99 and they are slated for shipping starting March 20.

The Funko Paka Paka: Soda Kats feature a “refreshing” line of furry, fizzy, frisky and quenching cats. They are shaped like cats with bodies that are reminiscent of soda bottles with straws. All of the cats inside the Soda Kats capsules stand 2. 5 inches tall. There are a total of 16 Soda Kats to collect, including Kitty Cola, Cat Pawchino, Meowntain Mew, Straw Purry, Purple Pop, Dr. Purr Purr and one rare Paka Paka Dragon figure.

The second line, called the Funko Paka Paka: Munchies, features the cutest and chubbiest animals as they munch on their favorite snacks. Just like the Soda Kats, the Munchies also stand 2.5 inches tall. They are adorably rotund and they are always hungry.

There are a total of 14 Munchies to collect including Cookie, a cat who munches on a cookie; Gordy, a pug that licks an ice cream; Ralph the raccoon, who enjoys his sandwich; and Ollie the penguin, who’s snacking on a donut. If you’re that lucky, you can unbox the ultra rare Paka Paka Dragon figure inside one of the Paka Paka: Munchies capsules.

The last, but definitely not the least line is called the Funko Paka Paka: Kawaii Village Japan that features the most iconic kawaii figures that originated in Japan. They also stand 2.5 inches tall.

There are a total of 15 Funko Paka Paka: Kawaii Village Japan collectibles to catch including Sue Shi, a skilled chef that is shaped like a sushi; Sam Urai, a noble bear; Torry, which is shaped like the Japanese torii, or gate; and Maneko, a cute little cat that waves its paws. The Paka Paka: Kawaii Village Japan also has a surprise golden Paka Paka Dragon figure.

Make sure to catch them all at only $5.99. You can now pre-order them at major retail sites like The more Paka Pakas you order, the more chances of catching the rare Paka Paka Dragon figures.
