Parrot announced its latest Bluetooth speaker system recently called the Parrot PARTY Black Edition. The speaker is a Bluetooth unit that features Near Field Communications as a way to pair with your mobile phone.

I guess the catch is actually having a NFC enabled phone that would allow paring by touching the devices together rather than navigating menus. In addition to the fast paring technology the device has some other nice features.

Power comes from a Class-D amp and two drivers are provided with a total power output of 6 watts. The speaker also promises virtual surround sound and SuperBass. Overall weight for the speaker is 650 grams and it is powered by a rechargeable battery good for 8 hours. The speaker will be available this summer for £79.00.
