Motorola has been on the ropes of late with no really successful handset since the original Razr made such a splash years ago. Thanks to this Motorola has been losing market share and profits are slipping. Motorola is looking for the next big handset to pull it out of its nose dive and return it to glory.

Apparently it thinks that a phone with a serious camera inside will do the trick, and it just might. Kodak is one of the biggest names in photography and is teaming up with Motorola for a camera phone.

According to Pocket-lint an unnamed source inside Motorola has confirmed that the camera phone is almost ready for release and that the quality is supposed to be “awesome.” Rumors peg the name of the device as Motozine Zn5. Kodak said it expected phones using its new CMOS sensor to be available in the first half of 2008 previously, lending more weight to the rumor.
