BT announced an interesting new plan today called BT Total Broadband Anywhere, an all inclusive package that provides users with a free Internet-capable smartphone and broadband service in the home for one price.

The service starts at a price of £23.99, which is only £5 more than the price for BT Total Broadband option 3. John Petter, managing director, Consumer at BT, said: “Broadband Anywhere customers get the total broadband experience – BT’s top-of-the-range broadband service at home, and a free BT ToGo smartphone for when out and about or on the move.”

Customers can choose from two smartphones for the plan—a HTC S620 or S710. Both handsets run Windows Mobile 6 and have Wi-Fi capability. The plan allows a 10MB monthly download allowance on the phone and 50 call minutes and 50 text messages. Plans with more minutes and text messages are available as well. The top package offers 600 minutes, 700 texts and adds £35.00 on top of the option 3 package.
