Everybody tells Sony to cut the price of the Sony PS3 to get the sales of the most advanced console going again after the slow Holiday sales. GamesIndustry.biz reports today that analyst Mike Hickey at Janco Partners says that a PS3 price-cut is imminent and the announcement could happen in the next couple of days.
A PS3 price-cut needs to be substantial and at least $100 to make an impact and get closer to what you can get a Xbox 360 or a Wii.
A $299 Sony PS3 doesn't sound that bad to me already. Come on Sony! Throw in a free copy of Killzone 2 and you'll move those dust-catching 40GB Sony PS3 consoles out of your warehouses.
