Global satellite leader SES announced today that it will be adding QVCHD to its line up of available channels. QVC is the first home retail shopping channel to offer high-definition (HD) programming through SES AMERICOM’s industry leading HD-PRIME platform.

QVC will be relying on AMC-11, a satellite already delivering some of America's leading cable programs and reaching more than 80 million domestic households.
SES AMERICOM continues to expand its industry-leading HD platform, adding QVC to a growing list of leading programmers distributing HD channels aboard its satellites, including A&E, Discovery, MTV Networks, NBC Universal, PBS and Scripps.
