Korea to get 2nd Generation WiBro Network

SK Telecom announced today that they succeeded in sending HD video using its WiBro technology in real time. WiBro with the improved "Wave 2" functionality can receive data at speeds of up to 37.44 Mbps and send at 10.08 Mbps.

SK Telecom plans to build a Wibro Wave 2 network in Seoul that is planned to launch in H2 2008.
