Buy This Now On Amazon

Kindle 2 just started to ship last week and we are already reading about a rumor about Kindle 3.
Digitimes just mentioned a Kindle 3 in a story about PVI who delivers the display for the Amazon Kindle.
Apparently in fall we will see a touchscreen Kindle that also will have a larger display. Update: New Kindle 3 Rumor.
Kindle 3 with a touchscreen would be able to get rid of the QWERTY keyboard buttons and use all of the Kindle surface as screen like the Plastic Logic eBook reader.
Tons of eBook makers are trying to land their readers in 2009 in the market to bother Kindle. I am not sure if we are ready for this. Kindle might be just enough for now and the early adopters who find the dedicated eBook reader concept great.
I still buy books or read on my computers and smartphone.
