Well known CompUSA is closing down. CompUSA was sold to Gordon Brothers for liquidation.

CompUSA was controlled by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim. The 103 retail stores of CompUSA will remain open during the holiday season. There will be discounts on computer and electronics ahead of the planned store closures.
So if you happen to walk by a CompUSA store it makes sense to check if there is a deal. Make sure to double check on how warranties and stuff like that will be handled after CompUSA is gone.

CompUSA opened in 1984 and had about $4 billion in sales last year.
