Toshiba has pulled the wraps off a new Qosmio X300 notebook that is aimed at the mobile gamer. The notebook was released at a European press conference recently. The notebook uses the same 4-core processor as the G50 and X50 notebooks.

The X300 lacks a Blu-ray drive, but can support Blu-ray playback. The slick cover design is a red flame motif and the screen is 17-inches. Graphics are via NVIDIA and discrete speakers are built-in as well.

Pricing and full details are unknown at this time. For a gaming machine it would be nice to know exactly what NVIDIA graphics card is used and if the machine supports SLI. The exact launch date is unknown as well.
