ASUS Gets Ready To Drop More Eee Notebooks

The word on the street is that ASUS is getting ready to announce a couple of new Eee models. The Eee 904 and 905 are supposed to use the 8.9-inch LCD seen in the other 900 series models, but put the whole works into the larger 10.2-inch case.

That would mean that you get a smaller screen, presumably a lower cost and still get the larger keyboard from the 10-inch Eee. Other benefits of this would be larger batteries for more battery life and a larger storage capacity.

BCS.org says that the new models would be priced around the same point as the 900 and 901 Eee systems retailing for around £300. There is no official word on the new models at this time.
