Some details on a really cool new Samsung handset have surfaced. The handset is called the Samsung i8510 and it is packed with all sorts of features. One of the most interesting features is the 8MP camera with LED flash, smile shot, blink shot, and face recognition.

The phone can connect to HSDPA networks at 7.2Mbit and can record video at 120 frames per second in QVGA quality. Other features include A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a built-in FM tuner. The phone will be available in 8GB and 16Gb capacities.

It will also include a microSD expansion slot and 3.5mm headphone jack. Supported video files include DivX, Real Player, and MPEG4. The phone has external speakers and talk time is up to 510 minutes and standby is 310 hours.
