If you need further proof that pay content on the Internet is not popular, the Telegraph.co.uk mobile website that was previously available only to paying customers is now going to a free model anyone can use.

According to Guardian, the site now has images with the text stories and will be updated with breaking news automatically throughout the day. The new service is intended to complement the other free services already offered by Telegraph.

Before the service went free, users had to pay £5 per month to access the mobile website. The new mobile site also uses a new digital publishing system and management system.
