Sky Getting Seven New HD Channels

BSkyB is getting ready to expand its HD offerings with seven new HD channels. The seven new channels launch on the Sky+ HD service starting next month. The seven new channels brings the total HD offerings on the network to 26.

Six of the HD channels will be Sky Movies and the seventh will be a new HD version of Sky Real Lives. The new HD channels will air programs in a sci-fi, drama, modern greats, family, and comedy genres.

According to the Guardian the new channels have several films lined up to air including The Sound of Music, Atonement, 28 Weeks Later, Hot Fuzz, and more.
