No Contract IPhone Coming

For those wanting to get in on the new iPhone action, but not wanting to be held to a long contract will like that a new pay-as-you go iPhone that is on its way. One of the first partners for the pay-as-you go option will be O2.

The phone itself will retail for £349.99 and it will cost at least £10 per month for pay-as-you go service. The pay-as-you go iPhone 3G will hit O2 stores on September 16th and the Carphone Warehouse the same day. The 16GB iPhone will cost an extra £50.

You will have to be someone who really does not want to be under a contract to pay these prices or have credit bad enough that the cell phone providers won’t let you have a normal plan.
