A new application for the iPhone has been introduced that allows users to gain entry to popular websites using their voice only. The Say Where application offers voice entry into popular mapping sites, business search, and review sites.

Sites that are integrated into the Say Where application include MapQuest,, Yelp, Yellow Pages, and more. To use the software the user speaks an address or something like hardware store into the iPhone and the voice is changed into a search on the website.

"While the iPhone has changed the entire mobile landscape, its 'Achilles Heel' remains the keyboard," said Greg Sterling senior analyst for Opus Research's Local Mobile Search program. "Dial Directions' impressive speech platform should further accelerate search and LBS-related lookups on the device by removing the keyboard as an obstacle."
