The Nintendo Wii and DS portable system may come from the same family, but they have little in common. Activision reportedly has a new Tony Hawk game coming out soon that will add more of a family resemblance between the two consoles.

The coming Tony Hawk game will add motion controls to the DS that allow the DS to be tilted and moved to control the game. Exactly how the motion controls will be implemented is unknown at this time.

The game is said to have 20 mini challenges and adds a snowboarding element. Another game using motion controls called Hue Pixel Painter will also debut at the same time.
