Archos announced their new Archos 5 in August and is already selling these new Archos PMPs.
Archos has landed with the 5 series a PMP that stands out in storage and feature set. The Archos 5 is powerful competitor to the iPod touch 2G, if you are not addicted to iTunes and the new App Store with all the fun games and apps.
Archos Lounge published now a very in-depth review of the Archos 5 including several videos.
Quote from the review: "Be prepared for more than 18 pages of full reviewing with tons of photos and videos. As you may notice, some videos are still in French. However, we made a long 20 minutes video especially for you, English readers. The Archos 5 screen shines. It shines way more than the 605’s one. The granular effect of the fourth and fifth generation players has disappeared. Here, it’s a glossy screen. The screen shines, the chromium shines, it’s spectacular."
