Android Smart Phone Hits T-Mobile Next Week

It's been a long time coming, but T-Mobile has finally announced that the first Google Android smartphone will be available starting September 23rd. The device will launch in the US first, but should make it to Europe later.

The handset is said to retail for about $200 on a 2-year contract or about $400 for the handset alone. Software from Google will be included like the Chrome browser and more.

The device is expected to have a touch screen, trackball, QWERTY keyboard and a digital camera built-in. Availability and pricing for Europe in unknown at this time.
