Saab unveiled its 9-X Air concept in pictures and its first official live viewing will be at the Paris auto show. The car looks nice in images and is being billed as the next generation 9-3 cabriolet planned to hit market in 2013 or 2014.

The car will be built on the GM Delta 2 platform and will be about the size of the current 9-3. The top on the car will be a lightweight, two-piece removable design rather than a folding canvas of metal type.

Saab is reportedly seeking patents on the top concepts. I hope it doesn't look like a bad hairpiece with the top on.
