EA and DICE announced today that the new first-person adventure game Mirror's Edge will ship on November 11th for PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC version of the game will be shipping later in the winter according to EA.

Before the game's official launch players will be able to download a demo of the game via XBOX Live and the PLAYSTATION Store. The demo will offer gamers the prologue for the game, the tutorial, and a portion of the single-player story. Players who pre-order the game starting on September 26th will get a code that unlocks the time trial mode in the demo.

"Mirror's Edge is bringing something new to the action-adventure genre this holiday by putting the player in the shoes of the hero, seeing what she sees, feeling what she feels," says Owen O'Brien, Senior Producer, DICE. "We wanted to create an entirely new experience, with a different type of heroine and a world that not only looks fresh and new but has unique gameplay."
