Bungie released a CGI teaser yesterday for an upcoming game project that features a sentence that read, "Maddie, where are you?" The sentence sparked rumors that it was a reference to missing child Madeleine McCann.

Bungie has come out and said that the sentence is not a reference to the missing child and that it is nothing more than an unfortunate coincidence.

Eurogamer quotes Bungie's Brian Jarrard saying, "This is an unfortunate coincidence but there is no connection between Bungie's game and the tragic disappearance of that little girl."
