One of the biggest shortcomings of the iPhone is the lack of flash support. For a while, you may have believed this lack was Adobe's fault. Apparently, that isn’t the case; it appears Apple is holding back the Flash show.

Reports are coming in that say Adobe has said it has Flash for the iPhone basically ready to launch and is merely waiting on Apple to give the go ahead. Adobe is reported to say that if Apple gives the nod, a flash player for the iPhone would be ready in a short time.

I wonder why Adobe can’t simply build the Flash player as an App and make it available. It would be great to see Flash added to the iPhone.
