Apparently, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has predicted the death of the iPod. Woz has said that he thinks the iPod is on the way out and has issues with some aspects of the iPhone. Woz told the Daily Telegraph that the iPod has been atop the DAP charts for a long time and will fall from the top spot due to oversupply.

Woz also says he doesn't like the proprietary nature of the iPhone. "Consumers are not getting all they want when companies are very proprietary and lock their products down," he said. "I would like to write some more powerful apps than what you're allowed."

I'm not sure how much stock you want to put in this guy's opinions; he dated Kathy Griffin after all. If that doesn’t show questionable judgment, I'm not sure what does. Woz sort of looks like a fatter Stephen King to me.
