A new App has hit the iTunes App Store called i.TV. The app provides users with up to date TV and movie listings based on their current location and profile settings that can be customized. In addition to listing, the application gives profile info like photos, bios, synopses, ratings and reviews.

Users can sort programming by genre, channel, and show. Filters allow users to exclude certain types of programming from searches like adult content. Users can also rate shows with stars, write reviews of programs or movies, and comment on reviews by other users. i.TV is free to download and available now.

“We are excited to see end user options for enjoying digital media continue to expand and believe that users should have a robust experience regardless of device or location,” said Corey Ferengul, executive vice president of marketing, Macrovision. “We believe that having Macrovision’s TV Guide solutions as part of i.TV’s offering will help enhance the end user experience.”
