Spore has been on the market long enough now for gamers everywhere to get to the space stage and really enjoy the game. EA has announced that it will be introducing expansion and booster packs to add new elements to the game.

EA has announced that a Space stage expansion pack is being developed alongside a Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack that allows players to design characters that are either cartoon cute or creepy monsters. The Space stage expansion pack is the most interesting to me.

The Space expansion will allow gamers to beam down to the surface of planets they are exploring to complete missions and earn rewards. Players will also be able to create custom missions and share them online. The Creepy & Cute pack will be available in November with the Space expansion coming in the spring of 2009.
