Averatec launched its All-In-One line with a 22-inch model in July. Averatec has added a smaller model to the line that uses an 18.4-inch LCD. The system uses the Intel Atom processor N270 typically found in netbook systems.

The system runs Windows XP Home and has 1GB of Ram with 160GB of storage. Wi-Fi is built-in and the system is optimized for daily computer use like email and web surfing. The computer retails for $549.99 and will be available soon.

Asus is said to be readying its own All-In-One PC that will carry the Eee name and use the same processor. Pricing for it is unknown, but Averatec had better be cheaper considering the name recognition Asus' Eee line has.
