When you think about movies from the 80s a few films, come to mind, things like Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, and Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters was definitely one of the funniest films ever for Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray and quickly spawned a cartoon and more.

According to Dan Aykroyd Atari has picked up the rights to launch a video game based on the film. You might be wondering why and the answer to that question is that this year marked the 25th anniversary of the film.

The game was expected to launch this winter, but was dropped when Vivendi merged with Activision. I for one would like to see this game published. Aykroyd is said to be the writer of the video game adaption.
