Orange has announced that it has a new exclusive handset from HTC called the HTC Touch HD. The device is set to launch in the UK in early November. Some photos of the device turned up online last month, but now specs are available too.

The handset has a 480 x 800 pixel 3.8-inch screen and can access Orange's mobile TV service. The camera is a 5MP unit with autofocus.

The web browser is a full HTML style, which will no doubt be compared to the iPhone when possible. The handset uses HTC's TouchFLO 3D user interface and runs Windows /mobile 6.1 Pro. Internal memory is 512MB with SDHC and microSD expansion.
