Sony Unveils W705 Smartphone

Sony has unveiled its latest Walkman phone called the W705. The device has a 2.4-inch LCD with a 320 x 240 resolution. The device stores to M2 memory cards and a 4GB card is included.

The handset supports Wi-Fi and HSUPA Turbo 3G and includes premium headphones. The camera integrated into the phone is a 3.2MP unit with LED flash. GPS is also integrated into the device.

The handset will come in red or silver colors and the music player function will include TrackID, Shake Control and SensMe. Availability will be in via Orange in Q1 2009.
