The Sony DSC-S2100 does not have a traditional auto mode, it features Intelligent Auto (iAuto) mode that thinks for you, recognizing scenes, lighting conditions, faces, and adjusts settings resulting in clear images, with less blur. You can take advantage of the technology without leaving Auto mode. Take a picture from a kid on the playground, to landscape shots. It also features Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN) Mode which automatically detects nine different types of scenes and within seconds selects the appropriate camera settings.
The camera also has High ISO which allows for faster shutter speed, so you can take photos indoors or in low light without the need for flash. The DSC-S2100 also features Smile Shutter technology which captures a smile the moment it happens. It comes with a card slot for optional Memory Stick Duo media and operates with convenient AA batteries.
The Sony DSC-S2100 12.1MP is available for pre-order on Amazon for only $119.99.
